Good to be the Queen

Fanart for Fire Emblem 10: Radiant Dawn, featuring Nailah, the Wolf Queen of Hatari, and her loyal harem—I mean boy toys—I mean concubines—I mean… um… companions! That's right, they are her companions! On the left, Volug, her go-to guy for bling and lookin' awesome with his shirt off, and on the right her pet heron, Rafiel, whose job is to look pretty and sing songs. It always sort of tickled me how in the game Nailah turns up out of nowhere with these two in tow, after having traveled across the Desert of Death. One wonders what sort of hijinks those crazy kids got up to out there…

Right. Of course this is just me having some fun with taking the paradigm of the king and all his courtesans and turning it inside out.

Sometimes it's good to be the Queen. I think Nailah would agree.
