Agent Smith makes a Mistake...

Description

Agent Smith was obsessed with finding Morpheus, the legendary hacker. Unfortunately when he did finally succeed in running the man to ground, he was surprised to find that it was not Morpheus the legendary hacker, but Morpheus the Sandman, third of the Endless, God of Dreams, also called "The Shaper of Form" and altogether not someone to mess around with.

Four minutes later, the Matrix was destroyed by a seriously annoyed Sandman, the Architect was cast to Outter Darkness along with Brute and Glob, Smith was obliterated, the Oracle was set up with a nice little cottage in Fiddler's Green, and the world was saved from the Matrix sequels.

Thank you Mr. Sandman.

Okay, let me say that this picture will make NO SENSE unless you've read at least Volume 1 of The Sandman graphic novels by Neil Gaiman. So go read it, cause it rocks, and then come back here and join me in laughing my butt off. I mean, I LOVED the Matrix (I) but, come on, you know the Sandman could take it apart easier than Trinity could break Cypher's face.

One other funny thing of interest: it occured to me while drawing this that the Sandman and Agent Smith actually have very similar faces. Which is great, because I think Hugo Weaving would make an absolutely bitchin' Sandman if they ever made it into a movie. (Of course I also think Hugo Weaving would make an absolutely bitchin' garden gnome, but that's another story.)

Sharpies, pilot and microns pens. Couple of hours. Agent Smith is © Wachowskis, etc. Sandman © Neil Gaiman.
Art by me.
Enjoy.
